In accordance with policy directive #01-01all direct care staff providing care to individuals with developmental disablities
will complete training that will enable them to handle medications safely, educate them on what the staff can and can not
do with medication. Educating when supervision of self-administration of medication is appropriate. Educate staff on circumstances
in which direct care staff my administer medications safely using the 5 rights.
